I'm off on Tuesdays.... so my plan was to clean my house then visit this restaurant in Florissant called Stix and Ice.  A cute little affordable restaurant that serve Kebabs and Daiquiris!

I then started rummaging through my wallet and found a $25 gift card to the Cheesecake factory that I had gotten back on Valentines day from an old white Sugar Daddy!

So equipped with free money to spend, me and my son drove to the Galleria to eat.  My plan was to not spend more than the $25, but as you can see, I failed miserably!

We came during lunch and they sat us in a section where they were training new staff, so service was a little slower than usual.  I can tell that our server had been in the restaurant industry for some time because she had the confidence of a server who knew her shit.

Raising Canes Vs. Chick Fil A

I remember the Florissant Grand Opening of both of these establishments like it was yesterday.  Raising Canes was the first establishment to open on Lindbergh Blvd in the heart of Florissant MO.  My son and I were already regulars at the Raising Canes on St. Charles Rock Rd, so the anticipation of a location opening close to us was exciting.  The grand opening was a success as you saw a steady stream of families and High School kids coming in and out.

And let me just say, Canes have hottest chicken tenders that literally burn your mouth when you bite into it (I LOVE IT).  The bread is pretty fucking amazing too...AND the Sweet TEA....YES GAWD!

Now lets talk about the grand opening of Chick Fil A

A FUCKING ZOO

Chick Fil A sits in front of a closed KMart store which was the parking lot for Chick Fil A on the grand opening...and EVERY spot had a car in it.  The line was literally out the fucking door.  I have to admit that the workers were efficient as they moved the crowds pretty rapidly.  That drive through was a mess though.  Some patrons were saying that they were waiting in the drive through for an hour. Fuck that!! 

Another thing that I notice about establishments that hire Teenagers...those motherfucking teens move SLOW AS FUCK!! I don't know if it's a confidence thing or these kids don't have any hustle about them.  You can see management barking and telling them to move faster.  I see this trend in a lot of places that hire teens.  They just move too damn slow. Especially these black teens out here working!

No shade BUT.....

I might get killed for this but Chick Fil A is garbage to me.  Chick Fil A has this cult following like the Jim Jones Massacre Cult!  Black folks LOVE this place!

First off, the nuggets are too damn small...Like pellets.  They have chicken tenders/strips but I like my shits crispy. And that shit ain't crispy to me.

I don't like their waffle fries either because they get cold real quick!

I typically don't eat hot dogs...like Never...

Even at picnics, BBQ's, and black folks cookouts, I usually never go for the hot dogs.  Well my niece hipped me to this place a few months ago, telling me that the food was pretty good.  

But Again, I don't like hot dogs!

So I decided to take one for the team and here's what I thought!

This place is pretty AMAZING!  The customer Service is 5 star!!

I got there right as they were opening, and as soon as he let me in a sea of customers came in right after me.  I can see that their clientele is a mixture of stoners, skateboarders, and yuppies!  This goes to show you that you can make a business pop if you have the right product and consumers.  Who would have thought that a Hot Dog joint in the middle of Florissant would be this popular.

Even the Prices were good!

He didn't fuck the money off on bullshit.  

He started a company that lasted over 80 years!

In the end the food was pretty good.  Although I only took a few bites, I can honestly say that I was impressed by the whole experience.

You don't have to be RICH to get a good buzz (Cheap Aldi Wine)

After being a fan of St. James Red Velvet and most Moscatos for over a decade, I discovered a cheaper alternative from Aldi.  As some of you may know, I am a consultant with Pure Romance and I'm also a member of Sex Positive St. Louis where we discuss and have lectures about certain realms of sexuality.  At many of these events, the event holder would have a wine table full of different Aldi Wines, cheese, olives, relish spreads and imported meats..... and that's how I fell in love. 

Shit doesn't have to be expensive to be classy or delicious.  Presentation is EVERYTHING!!

Being fat was a niche that paid well if you had the proper marketing machine behind you.  I even had a slogan...."In a World of tiny fast cars, I'm a LUXURY Sedan".  People would often ask if my son knew that I did nude modeling, and my answer would be....Why would HE??  He never went on photo shoots with me.  And what ever he DOES know about me his reaction is usually....

I began to get tired of being the overweight sexy black girl and I eventually joined a gym (Didn't loose a pound)

It wasn't until I developed Diabetes in 2015 that I begin to see my weight shed.  With a combination of getting old and having diabetes, I begin to develop strange eating habits.  Like....eating my meals out of small saucers like the one posted below.  My daily breakfast consisted of string cheese, Powerade, and a small fruit cup.  If I did go out an eat, I'd NEVER finish it.  I'd usually get full after eating 2-3 bites.  And with constantly moving and walking fast on the job, I began to loose more weight.
